This Privacy Notice (the “Notice”) describes how CHAGEE (CA) LLC (collectively, “CHAGEE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collect, use, disclose, and otherwise process personal information about you in connection with your interactions with CHAGEE in the United States. This Notice applies to information we collect when you visit or use our U.S. mobile applications, websites, or other online services that link to this Notice (the “Services”), when you visit our teahouse locations, when you participate in our CHAGEE Rewards program, when you contact our customer support team, when you interact with our marketing and promotional activities, or when you otherwise interact with us in the United States.
We may provide different or additional notices for certain products, services, programs, or activities. Those notices supplement or replace the disclosures in this Notice to the extent of any conflict with respect to the products, services, programs, or activities they describe.
We may update this Notice from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice (for example, by posting a prominent notice on our Services, or sending you a direct communication) as required by applicable law. We encourage you to review this Notice periodically to stay informed about our information practices and your choices.

COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
The categories of information we collect depend on how you interact with us or use our Services. This section describes the categories of information we collect and the sources we collect them from.
Information You Provide Directly
We collect information you provide to us directly. For example, we collect information when you create a CHAGEE account, place an order in our app or at a participating teahouse, enroll in CHAGEE Rewards, participate in our contests, sweepstakes, giveaways, or promotions, request customer support, respond to a survey, or otherwise communicate with us.
The categories of information we may collect directly from you include:
Identifiers and contact information, such as your first and last name, email address, mobile phone number, mailing or residential address, CHAGEE account username and password, and CHAGEE user ID;
Transaction and commercial information, such as your order history, items purchased, purchase amount, redemption activity, wish list and cart items, coupons used, and location of the participating CHAGEE store where a transaction occurred;
Payment information, which is collected and processed primarily by our third-party payment processors (such as Square), although we may receive limited payment identifiers such as the last four digits of your payment card, card brand, expiration month/year, and associated payment tokens;
Demographic information, such as birth month and day (optional, for birthday-related offers) and other profile information you choose to provide;
Communications preferences and feedback, such as your opt-in or opt-out elections for marketing, surveys or reviews you submit, and any other information you share with us; and
Other information you voluntarily provide in connection with your use of our Services or your interactions with us.
Information We Collect Automatically
When you access or use our Services, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain information, including:
Device and connection information, such as your IP address, device identifiers and mobile advertising identifiers, device model, operating system and version, browser type and language, mobile network information, and application crash data and diagnostics;
Usage and activity information, such as pages, screens, and features you view, links and buttons you click, items added to your cart or wish list, referring and exit pages, session duration, access times, and interactions with our marketing communications;
Approximate location information inferred from your IP address (such as city and state);
Precise geolocation (latitude/ongitude) collected from your device, but only if you enable location services in the CHAGEE app or in your device settings (for example, to find the nearest teahouse or to enable mobile order-ahead features);
Audio and video information captured by CCTV and security cameras in and around our teahouses for security, loss prevention, and incident investigation purposes. If you contact customer service by phone or through in-app chat, we may record or retain those communications for quality assurance, training, recordkeeping, and other internal purposes;
Cookies, pixels, software development kits (SDKs), and similar tracking technologies that collect information about your interactions with our Services and marketing communications. See the “Cookies, Pixels, and Similar Tracking Technologies” and “Targeted Advertising” sections below for more information.
Information We Receive From Other Sources
We may receive information about you from third parties, including:
Our corporate affiliates and related entities;
Third-party data providers which may provide us with residential address, demographic, geographic, or other information associated with an identifier we already hold (such as your email address or phone number), to support our business planning, real estate/site selection analytics, customer profiling, and (where permitted) marketing activities;
Joint marketing, co-branded, or promotional partners;
Service providers, contractors, and vendors that support our operations, including fraud prevention, fulfillment, customer service, analytics, advertising, and marketing providers;
Social media platforms and other third-party platforms you interact with in connection with CHAGEE (such as when you follow, like, share, or tag our content, or authenticate through a third-party account);
Public sources, government records, and law enforcement authorities, where permitted by law.
Information We Derive or Infer
We may derive information or draw inferences about you from the information we collect or receive. For example, we may infer your approximate location from your IP address, infer your product or beverage preferences from your purchase history and engagement patterns, build customer demographic and psychographic profiles, and generate aggregated or de-identified metrics about our customer base to support business planning and store-siting decisions.
USE OF INFORMATION
We use the information we collect to operate our business, to provide and improve our offerings and Services, and to communicate with you. Specifically, we use your information to:
Provide, maintain, support, and personalize our Services, including to process your orders and transactions, provide mobile order-ahead and pick-up functionality, identify nearby participating teahouses, fulfill and administer loyalty rewards, and facilitate refunds and exchanges;
Create, administer, and secure your CHAGEE account and authenticate your access;
Process payments and detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized activity;
Send you transactional and relationship communications, such as order confirmations, receipts, account notices, policy updates, and customer service replies;
Send you marketing and promotional communications by email, in-app message, push notification, direct mail, and measure the effectiveness of our communications and campaigns;
Administer, improve, and measure participation in the CHAGEE Rewards program, including issuing, tracking, and redeeming Points and Rewards;
Conduct research, surveys, analytics, and product development, including to understand usage trends, improve our menu and Services, and identify customer preferences;
Support business planning and strategy, including real estate and site selection, trade-area analysis, and customer profiling, including by combining first-party transaction data with address, demographic, geographic, or other attributes provided by third-party data vendors on an aggregated and (where possible) de-identified basis;
Operate our teahouses, including through the use of CCTV cameras and in-store technology for safety, security, loss prevention, and incident investigation;
Comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests from governmental or regulatory authorities, establish or defend legal claims, and enforce our agreements and policies; and
Create, use, and retain aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized information that cannot reasonably be linked to you.
COOKIES, PIXELS, AND SIMILAR TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
We and our service providers and third-party advertising and analytics partners use cookies, pixel tags (including the Meta/Facebook Pixel, Google Ads, TikTok, and similar pixels), software development kits (SDKs), local storage, beacons, mobile advertising identifiers, and similar technologies (collectively, “Tracking Technologies”) to operate our Services, authenticate users, remember your preferences, analyze site and app performance, measure marketing effectiveness, personalize content, and deliver advertising tailored to your interests.
We use the following categories of Tracking Technologies:
Strictly necessary: required to enable core functionality such as account sign-in, cart, checkout, and security;
Functional: remember your settings and preferences (such as language);
Analytics and performance: help us understand how visitors use our Services, diagnose problems, and improve the user experience;
Advertising and social media: used by us and our advertising, social media, and analytics partners to build audiences, deliver and measure interest-based advertising (including retargeting), measure conversions, and serve ads on our Services and on other websites, apps, and platforms.

TARGETED ADVERTISING, CROSS-CONTEXT BEHAVIORAL ADVERTISING, AND ANALYTICS
We engage third-party advertising networks, social media platforms, ad-tech providers, analytics providers, and similar partners to deliver targeted advertising and measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. These third parties may use Tracking Technologies (including pixels, cookies, SDKs, and mobile advertising identifiers) deployed on our Services to collect information about your interactions with our websites, mobile apps, and marketing communications over time and across other websites, apps, and online services. We also may disclose identifiers we hold (such as a hashed version of your email address or phone number) to these partners so they can match, expand, or measure their audiences.
The categories of personal information that may be disclosed to, or collected by, these third parties through our Services include: (i) identifiers such as cookie IDs, pixel IDs, mobile advertising IDs, device identifiers, IP address, and hashed contact identifiers; (ii) internet or other electronic network activity information, including pages and products viewed, links and buttons clicked, items added to cart, time-on-page, and conversion events; and (iii) inferences drawn from this information (such as inferred interests or product affinities).
The categories of third parties with which we engage in these activities include advertising networks and exchanges (such as Google Ads and The Trade Desk), social media platforms (such as Meta/Facebook and TikTok), attribution and measurement providers, analytics providers, data management platforms, and audience/data partners.
DISCLOSURES OF INFORMATION
We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:
To service providers, contractors, vendors, and consultants that perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing, hosting and cloud infrastructure, fulfillment and delivery, customer service, mobile app development and support, analytics, marketing, advertising, fraud prevention, identity verification, accounting, auditing, and legal services;
To third-party data providers in connection with our business planning and strategy, including real estate and site selection, customer profiling, and (where permitted) marketing activities (see the “Information We Receive From Other Sources” section);
To advertising, social media, and analytics partners, for targeted advertising, cross-context behavioral advertising, measurement, and related activities (see “Targeted Advertising, Cross-Context Behavioral Advertising, and Analytics”);
To our corporate affiliates and related entities, including for internal administration, analytics, and marketing;
To our professional advisors, including accountants, attorneys, auditors, and insurers;
In connection with a corporate transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, sale of assets, or bankruptcy or similar event, or during the negotiation of any such transaction;
To comply with law or legal process, respond to lawful requests from public or regulatory authorities, meet national security or law enforcement requirements, or protect the rights, property, safety, or security of CHAGEE, our customers, our employees, or others;
To enforce our Terms of Service, our policies, and other agreements, and to investigate, prevent, or take action in connection with suspected fraud or illegal activity; and
With your consent or at your direction.
We also may disclose aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized information that does not identify and cannot reasonably be used to identify you, and we commit to maintain and use such information only in de-identified form and not to attempt to re-identify it, except as permitted by law.
CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us at support@chagee.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete the information.
YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES
Account Information and Deletion
If you have a CHAGEE account, you can review and update certain information stored in your account at any time by signing into the app and visiting “Me” → “Profile.” You can delete your CHAGEE account by visiting “Me” → “Settings” → “Delete account.”
Marketing Communications
You may opt out of receiving marketing emails from CHAGEE by clicking the “unsubscribe” link included in the email, by adjusting your preferences in the app at “Me” → “Settings” → “Access Settings” → “Marketing Communications,” or by contacting us at support@chagee.com.
You may opt out of push notifications through your device settings.
Even if you opt out of marketing communications, we may still send you transactional or relationship messages (such as order confirmations, account and security notices, and important service announcements).
Cookies, Pixels, and Similar Tracking Technologies
Most web browsers are set by default to accept cookies. You can usually adjust your browser settings to remove, block, or reject cookies, although doing so may impair the functionality of our Services.
Precise Location
You can control whether we collect precise device location through your device or app settings. Turning off location services may limit the functionality of certain features of the Services (for example, mobile-order-ahead or teahouse location services).
Shine the Light (California)
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request certain information about our disclosures Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, California residents who have an established business relationship with us may opt out of our disclosure of their personal information to third parties for those third parties' direct marketing purposes. We will not disclose your personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes if you have opted out. To opt out, please contact us at no cost by emailing support@chagee.com with the subject line "Shine the Light Request.”
HOW WE PROTECT AND RETAIN YOUR INFORMATION
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no security system is perfect, and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted over the internet or stored on any system. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your CHAGEE account credentials and for keeping your devices secure.
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Notice, to comply with our legal, tax, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements.
CHANGES TO THIS NOTICE
We may update this Notice from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above and, if the changes are material, we may provide additional notice as required by applicable law. Your continued use of the Services or interactions with us after the updated Notice becomes effective constitutes your acknowledgment of the updated Notice.

This Notice is written in English. If this Notice is translated into another language and there is any inconsistency between the English and translated text, the English text will prevail.
